Job description

Intercept is actively seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team and lead the charge in expanding our presence within the United Kingdom. As a pivotal figure in our growth strategy, you'll harness your sales expertise to generate leads and close deals. With the foundation set, you'll take the reins, propelling our success to new heights in the UK market. If you thrive on lead generation, attracting new business and identifying new market opportunities, we invite you to explore our latest opportunity tailored for the UK market!

About the role

At Intercept, we're firm believers that the future of software-driven organizations thrives in the dynamic landscape of the public cloud, where innovation, scalability, commercial success, and long-term security seamlessly converge.

As our dedicated Business Development Manager in the UK region, you play a pivotal role in customer acquisition. Your primary responsibility is to convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), expertly guiding potential customers through the sales funnel. So in short, lead generation and identification of new market opportunities. Once identified as SQLs, your efforts focus on closing the deal and converting them into monthly recurring customers. Your strategic approach, market knowledge, and persuasive skills significantly contribute to the growth and sustainability of our customer base in the UK market.

Your main focus will be negotiating and closing deals, ensuring mutual benefits for our customers and Intercept. Your presence is instrumental in establishing valuable connections with local businesses, potential partners, and decision-makers. Additionally, you'll leverage social media platforms and professional networks to engage with IT professionals and companies in the UK, nurturing relationships that contribute to our expansion.

Your customers will include business owners, CTOs, and lead developers from diverse companies, ranging from startups to large internationally oriented software companies.

About Us

Digitization has fundamentally changed our world and technology now plays an unavoidable role in our daily lives. We at Intercept cater to that change to make software-driven organizations work faster, more efficiently and more securely. Without them actually noticing we're there! Our expertise is demonstrated through the certifications and acknowledgments we've earned from both Microsoft and our valued customers.

We call ourselves Interceptors and we have created an atmosphere of a "community within a community." With a high Avengers attitude (“I can do this all day”) we are working daily to empower our customers and each other. We are ambitious, driven and innovative. But make no mistake, we work hard but also get a lot in return. For example, working 100% remotely within the EU or simply being able to pick up your child from school. We are given flexibility and trust by Intercept.
