About the role

As our dedicated Business Development Manager in the UK region, you play a pivotal role in customer acquisition. Your primary responsibility is to convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), expertly guiding potential customers through the sales funnel. So in short, lead generation and identification of new market opportunities. Once identified as SQLs, your efforts focus on closing the deal and converting them into monthly recurring customers. Your strategic approach, market knowledge, and persuasive skills significantly contribute to the growth and sustainability of our customer base in the UK market.

Your main focus will be negotiating and closing deals, ensuring mutual benefits for our customers and Intercept. Your presence is instrumental in establishing valuable connections with local businesses, potential partners, and decision-makers. Additionally, you'll leverage social media platforms and professional networks to engage with IT professionals and companies in the UK, nurturing relationships that contribute to our expansion.

Your customers will include business owners, CTOs, and lead developers from diverse companies, ranging from startups to large internationally oriented software companies.

Job requirements

About you

To excel in this role, you possess the following qualifications:

  • Native English
  • 3-5 years of relevant Sales experience within an IT organisation with managed services
  • Training/education in Business and Management or Commercial Economics
  • A proven track record in identifying and converting new business opportunities
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market trends and competitors
  • Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships

  • An annual salary up to £56,000 BPG (depending on experience)
